Glendale, AZ—The Global Spectrum-managed Cardinals Stadium,
the new home for the National Football League’s Arizona Cardinals,
nears completion. The 64,000-seat multi-purpose venue, featuring
a retractable roof is on schedule to open in the Fall of 2006, and will
host the 2007 Fiesta Bowl, the BCS title game and the 2008 Super
Bowl. In related news, Patrick Talty, a 10-year veteran of public
assembly facility management, has been named as Director of
Operations of the venue.

Brett Mitchell and Doug Higgons have been promoted by Global Spectrum
to Regional Directors. Mitchell will expand his role as General Manager of the
Overland Park Convention Center in Overland Park, KS to oversee the Iowa
Events Center in Des Moines IA, as well as future venues in the Mid-West.
Higgons, general manager of the Ted F. Constant Convocation Center on the
campus of Old Dominion University in Norfolk, VA, will oversee the University
Central Florida’s multi-puprose venue as well as future venues in the South-East.
Robert LeBarron was named General Manager of the William D. Mullins
Memorial Center, the University of Massachusett’s 10,000-seat multi-purpose
