Dolomite, Chlorite, Calcite, Magnesite, and Quartz
SECTION 3: Hazards Identification
Exposure to a large single doses may cause sneezing and dryness of mucous membranes.
Could cause irritation of the mucous membranes and respiratory tract.
Routes of Exposure: Ingestion, inhalation, eye contact
Target Organs: None identified
Symptoms of Overexposure:
Inhalation: Low oral toxicity. Dust may irritating. Prolonged inhalation of
air-born dust may cause scarring of the lungs (plumonary fibrosis).
Ingestion: Considered harmless and inert when ingested
Dermal Contact: Can cause dryness, or may cause mild irritation.
Acute Effects: None identified
Chronic Effects: Repeated exposure may cause conjunctival inflammation.

SECTION 4: First Aid Measures
Eye: Flush eyes with copious amount of water for at least 15 minutes
Skin: Wash skin and apply moisturizers to relieve dryness.
Ingestion: Treat symptomatically and supportively. If vomiting occurs, keep
head lower than hips to prevent aspiration.
Inhalation: Take to fresh air. Get medical attention immediately if breathing
