ABSTRACT
The 20 activity Project is tried to be scheduled in an efficient way in this Project. To do this,
both normal times, crashing opportunities, the available resources are considered during the
paper, and three Schedule alternatives are set which, one of them is recommended at the end.
Project completion times, cost informations, cost distributions among direct and indirect costs,
the number of critical activities as a measure of flexibility of the schedules, the average
resource usage and deviation measures from average are calculated and presented for all the
schedules for efficient comparison. Mean absolute deviation (MAD) is used to measure the
deviations from average.
To solve Part-3 MsExcel Solver is used to find the minimum cost optimum Schedule in
crashing problem.
Also to easily calculate and graph the resource usages, an Excel Template is formed and used
for every Schedule.
Both of the Excel Worksheets are uploaded on METU online.
