CompTIA Introduces CompTIA Authorized Partner Program
Open to certification courseware, training and exam delivery partners
Oakbrook Terrace, IL (Vocus) October 22, 2009 -- CompTIA, the leading trade association for the information
technology (IT) industry, today introduced the CompTIA Authorized Partner Program, a new cohesive, managed
channel for all CompTIA learning products and services including its portfolio of vendor-neutral certifications for
IT professionals.
“We work closely with our partners around the world to help IT professionals advance their knowledge, skills
and career credentials in order to raise on-the-job performance levels,” said Terry Erdle, senior vice president,
skills certification, CompTIA. “With the introduction of this program, CompTIA is expanding its commitment by
adding substantial resources and working collaboratively with our partners to increase market impact and
customer satisfaction.”
The CompTIA Authorized Partner Program is designed to help CompTIA business partners grow their business
by recognizing them as leaders in their field through powerful sales and marketing tools, increased resources and
closer links to businesses seeking training providers.
In its introductory phase the program is targeted at CompTIA delivery partners whose primary focus is on IT
training, delivered in classroom, virtual classroom or blended learning environments. To be considered for the
program, training providers must:
• Offer courses at their own training centers, client site, rented space or online.
• Offer at least one CompTIA certification training course using instructors who are certified in the exams they
teach.
• Use CompTIA Authorized Quality Curriculum (CAQC) materials in their courses to ensure a high level of
quality, instructional design and 100 percent correlation to CompTIA certification exams.
