APPLICATION AND ENROLLMENT
Step 1 - Questions?
To learn more about the Online Degree Programs:
A. Contact La Verne at 877-GO-TO-ULV (877-468-6858).
B. Request an unofficial evaluation of your prior college coursework by
downloading the Unofficial Evaluation Form. http://www.ulv.edu/ulvonline/pdf/
Complete the form and fax it in.
Step 2 - Application Process
Please complete the Application for Admission entirely and submit it along with
the $50 application fee (payable to the University of La Verne) to the address
printed on the application. Be sure to sign and date the application. You will
receive additional admission materials upon receipt of your initial application.
Upon receipt of all of your admission materials, your file will be reviewed for
Your Academic Advisor will review your application when it is received. Your
advisor can provide you the answers to academic questions such as an appropriate
first class to begin your studies, your G.P.A. or your academic standing upon
transferring to the University of La Verne, etc. Applicants whose cumulative GPA is
less than 2.00 must consult an Advisor to determine admission status before enrolling in any courses.
Step 3 - Financial Aid
To determine your financial aid eligibility you must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). We encourage you to
apply online at www.ulv.edu/financial_aid or call 800.649.0160 for a financial aid packet. Submitting your FAFSA online will expedite the
financial aid process, which normally takes approximately 6-8 weeks. We recommend that you allow yourself at least an hour to complete the
application process. You will need your previous year’s tax forms for some of the answers.
Step 4 - Term Schedules
Approximately two weeks prior to the start of the registration period, a link to the schedule of classes will be posted as a PDF on the following
web page: www.ulv.edu/ulvonline/registrar
