Exposure to a large single dose, or repeated small doses by inhalation or ingestion can
lead to lipid pneumonia or lipid granuloma. These are low-grade, chronic, localized
tissue reactions which are not fatal.
Potential Routes of Exposure: Ingestion, inhalation, dermal contact, eye contact
Symptoms of Overexposure:
Possible aspiration, bluish discoloration of the skin. Coughing,
choking, and gagging may become more prominent.
Gastrointestinal discomfort may develop and could possibly
cause abdominal cramps and diarrhea.
Shortness of breath and coughing.
