Vivienne Marcheline, (5 pounds) by Cesarian section on Saturday night.
A nurse at the Lenval hospital in Nice told NBC News that she couldn't comment on the
reported births, but say she was under the impression an announcement from Sussmann was
made in the Nice Matin newspaper.
Nice Matin reported that Sussmann called them on Saturday night at the request of Pitt and
Jolie, who, according the paper, wanted to make the announcement in a local newspaper. The
babies reportedly were born at 8 p.m. local time on Saturday night.
‘Everything is going well’ and Pitt was there during the operation, said the doctor, who
delivered the twins at the seaside Lenval hospital in Nice in southern France.
