Use epidemiological methods to
identify mechanisms, risks and
environments for main types of
injuries
Describe risk factors and management
for traffic- related injuries, burns,
poisonings and child abuse
Identify child injury prevention
initiatives using Haddon Matrix and
epidemiologic triad, including concept
of passive and automatic protection
Review of Household cleaning product
survey conducted by HAAD - Poison
and Drug information Center.
Discuss guidelines for safe use of
household cleaning products and
practical methods for prevention
Review the childhood injury
prevention
Explain pre-hospital care of childhood
injury
