ERP PROGRAM ANALYST

The City of Fort Collins MIS Department has an outstanding opportunity for an experi-
enced business/systems analyst to perform work related to the delivery of the ERP (JD
Edwards Enterprise One) and enterprise reporting programs. The ideal candidate will
have demonstrated knowledge of database management, ERP technologies, relational
databases and structured query language (SQL), and Crystal Reports or similar report
writer software. The successful candidate will possess strong analytical and problem-
solving skills, excellent communication skills, and will have the proven ability to establish
effective working relationships with customers, co-workers and vendors.
The position requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology,
Management Information Systems or a related field from an accredited college or univer-
sity plus a minimum of 3-5 years working with ERP software, 3-5 years working with report
writer applications, 2 years mapping business processes and 1 year project management
experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES: The following duties and

Know all ERP application functionality at a high
level and be familiar with how the functionality is
used across the City including: general ledger,
purchasing, accounts payable, accounts receiv-
able, fixed assets, payroll, benefits, compensa-
tion, leave administration, employee self service,
and any future modules that may be imple-
mented
Lead business requirements sessions with us-
ers; translate business requirements into techni-
cal specifications,
Coordinate all aspects of the City’s Enterprise
Reporting Program including Business Objects
