We have been busy during this first week of intercession break as we prepare for third quarter. All sixth
through eighth grade students have new schedules and students in grades 2-5 may have a different math or
reading teacher depending on your child’s benchmark results. Some students have been added to our math
and reading TRIAGE classes for extra help in those academic areas. All students in grades 4-8 have brand
new stampsheets and should have at least two opportunities for extra ‘dust devils’ so far.
We had over 100 students join us for our Winter Intercession. Many came to work on concepts and
skills they were having difficulty with while others came for credit recovery, and 44 additional students came
to complete their Fast ForWord. Thank you for making sure your child was here and on time each day and
for supporting our Fast ForWord program. We made a lot of progress and had some fun as well.
