Grades 1-12 classes meet 3:35 to 4:30 unless oth-
erwise noted
Southlake Music Academy will offer private piano and
private/small group guitar lessons.
Cost: $30.00 annual registration; $100/month for private lessons
$80/month group lessons (guitar)
Guitar Club—Patrick Watson/Heidi Kloempken
7-12th grades
Guitar club is open to secondary students interested in learn-
ing/sharing music together. Students must provide their own
instrument. Guitar club will meet Friday afternoons in Ms.
Kloempken’s room.
Rookies—Bowmen Sports
Kindergarten
Wednesday & Friday after dismissal
This super-fun program is a great opportunity for your child
to get an introduction to T-ball, soccer, and basketball in a
non-competitive environment. This is a multi-sport program
that includes skill development and fun-based games. Regis-
tration will be conducted by Bowmen Sports—contact Nick
Barrows at 817-929-3333.
Rotary Interact Club
9-12th Grade
Interact is Rotary International’s service club for young
people ages 14-18. It helps students develop leadership
skills, personal integrity, and respect for others. Interact
meets twice a month on Wednesdays.
Friday
Dining Like a Diplomat—Michelle Donatto
2nd-6th Grades
Students will learn proper dining etiquette, table man-
ners, and conversation. Final meeting will be a trip to a
restaurant to practice newly acquired skills.
Cost: $55 plus cost of meal
Black Cow
Open to all Westlake Academy students that are inter-
ested in writing/publishing a monthly news magazine for
the school.
