RALEIGH, N.C.--(EON: Enhanced Online News)--Emergency Technologies, Inc. (ETI) proudly announces that
the Visual Fire system is live and operational within the city of San Antonio Fire Department, the city of Schertz Fire-
Rescue, and throughout all of the Bexar County Fire Departments. ETI’s Visual Fire solution allows these city and
county fire departments to have an integrated public safety information system to help streamline information sharing
between city and county agencies.
In August 2008, ETI was contracted to provide a Fire Records Management System to the seventh largest U.S.
city, the city of San Antonio, Texas. Phase 1 of this project was completed in November 2008, and allowed San
Antonio Fire Department to report fire incident information in the National Fire Incident Reporting System (NFIRS)
5.0 standard in order to maintain eligibility for USFA grant funding. Phase 2 of this project, which was known as the
Alamo project, included the expansion of the Visual Fire system throughout the 23 Bexar County Fire Departments
and city of Schertz Fire Departments. This regional deployment is part of a larger 14.7 million Dollar contract
through the Prime Contractor, TriTech Software Systems.
“We are excited to continue our partnership with the city of San Antonio, city of Schertz and Bexar County as they
strive to improve public safety operations through the use of a multi-department Fire Records solution,” says Kyle
Breischaft, president and CEO of Emergency Technologies, Inc. He continues, “Visual Fire delivers the technology
necessary to allow multiple fire departments to seamlessly share mission critical data that helps save lives and reduce
Fire Fighter injuries.”
