NOTE:
Non-Muslim candidates have the option either to attempt MCQs on Islamic Studies or the same number of 
questions in a separate section titled “Ethics”.
PHYSICAL STANDARDS
 
Candidates are required to mention Physical Standard in their Online Application 
Form as per Certificate of Physical Standard issued by the Medical Superintendent of 
District Headquarters Hospitals or Service Hospital, Lahore or Police Hospitals shall be 
accepted under the Regulations/Policy Decisions.
 
However, Medical Fitness Certificate issued within three (03) months prior to the 
closing date of the Advertisement shall be acceptable subject to the condition that the 
candidate fulfills all other requirements of Physical Standards prescribed for the post. 
Medical Certificate issued after the closing date shall not be accepted. 
Tempering/overwriting in Medical Certificate shall not be accepted. Physical 
Measurement Certificate will only be acceptable as per the given format.
IMPORTANT NOTES
1) Negative marking shall be made and 0.25 marks shall be deducted for each incorrect 
answer in the MCQ papers.
2) A candidate shall have to obtain 40% marks in each paper and 50% marks in the 
aggregate i.e. 275 out of 550 to qualify for interview. Thereafter, a candidate shall 
also secure 50% marks in the interview i.e. 75 out of 150 to be held eligible for final 
merit list of successful candidates.
3) No relaxation in age (General age relaxation), education or physical standard shall 
be allowed. Punjab Civil Servants (recruitment relaxation in upper age limit) Rules 
1976 are not applicable in Police Department.
4) After recruitment no Inspector (Legal) shall be allowed to change of cadre from 
Inspector (Legal) to the executive or any other branch in the Police Department.
5) The candidates who qualify in the examination and are recommended for 
appointment will have to appear for such medical examination and meet such 
conditions of appointment other than the above, as are prescribed by the 
Government.
6) Recruitment to the posts of Inspector Legal is governed by the Punjab Police Service 
Rules, 1934. The conditions of eligibility other than those mentioned above shall be 
regulated these Rules. 
7) Change in the priority/selection of examination centers shall not be allowed.

Employees of Semi Government and Autonomous Bodies of Federal Government or Provincial Government and those of Local Bodies are not entitled to age concession for the period of  their service in such organization.
3. 
In case a candidate claims that his/her qualification is equivalent to the prescribed qualification, he/she will be required to submit equivalence certificate of his/her foreign/local qualification, issued by the Competent Authority of 
HEC/PMDC/PMC/PEC & QEDC of concerned Administrative Department, which will be accepted by the Commission as Final, at the time of interview or whenever asked by the Commission. If a candidate fails to submit 
Equivalence Certificate issued by the Competent Authority at the time of interview or whenever asked by the Commission, his/her candidature shall be cancelled.

In case, a candidate claims experience of private firm / entity,  he / she must bring proof at the time of interview that the firm /entity is registered with SECP, Registrar of Firms or any other Regulatory Authority, failing which his / 
her application shall be  rejected.
5.  
 The candidates will ensure that after applying for a particular post they will immediately apply for Departmental Permission Certificate/NOC in their concerned Department(s) and provide the Departmental Permission 
Certificate/NOC at the time of  interview (if called).
6.  
 The candidates just after applying for a particular post advertised by PPSC will ensure that they have obtained/applied for registration in PEC/PNC/PMDC/PMC/PVMC or other relevant body for Registration Certificate  on or 
before the Closing Date  and  provide the same at the time of interview (if called).
7.  
 The candidates will ensure that they will provide marks obtained / total marks or percentage certificate of all degrees, issued by the Competent Authority, at the time of interview. CGPA is not acceptable. 
8.    No information, whatsoever, shared by anyone other than on the PPSC’s website, is authentic; therefore, candidates must not trust any such information. 
9.  
 The Shorthand Test and  Typing & Proficiency Test, if required,  will ONLY be held at Lahore.

i) M.Sc. Nursing or equivalent qualification from a recognized University 
with at least four years' experience as Nursing Instructor, Deputy 
Nursing Superintendent or Clinical Instructor; or at least fifteen years' 
experience as Charge Nurse;   OR
ii) B.Sc. Nursing Post Registered Nurse with at least six Years' Practical 
Experience as Nursing Instructor, Deputy Nursing Superintendent or 
Clinical Instructor;    OR
iii) B.Sc. Nursing Generic and one year specialized diploma in any 
discipline preferably Nursing Education with at least six years' practical

Pakistan Nursing Council.
NOTE: 
 
Preference shall be given to practical experience from any Health 
Institution of the Government.
IMPORTANT NOTE:-
i) The candidates who had applied to PNC for Registration of their M.Sc. 
Nursing or  B.Sc. Nursing Post Registered Nurse or B.Sc. Nursing 
Generic or Diplomas on or before the closing date but;
 
a) Registration Cards were issued after the closing date; or
 
b) Registration cards have not been issued so far;
ii) Shall be Provisionally held eligible subject to the condition that such 
candidates shall have to produce documentary evidence properly 
stamped & signed by the Competent Authority of PNC that they have 
applied for such card on or before the closing date.
iii) Experience in private hospitals shall be accepted if such hospital is 
registered with Punjab Healthcare Commission, PMC/PMDC or any 
other Regulatory Authority.
PRESCRIBED QUALIFICATION/EXPERIENCE

One paper MCQ type written test of 100 Marks 
and 90 minutes duration.  Syllabus is as under:-
