MEMORIES OF THINGS TO COME

The problem of capturing reality is one central to film theory. While some films seek to create an
illusion of reality, others find a more complete truth through the recollection of events, retracing the
path of memory. Presented here are the works of four cerebral directors, whose films take us on a
journey deep into the human psyche in their search for the intangible qualities of human existence.
