Course Objective
The Establishment and Running a Venture Enterprise seeks to enhance
the skills of the entrepreneur in starting his business right. It seeks to
professionalize the entrepreneur and the way he manages his business. This will
make entrepreneurs avoid expensive penalties and unneeded misunderstanding
among stakeholders. It is in support of the venture MRR as well as a true to life
approach for students planning to have a business venture of their own. This
course was designed to assist entrepreneurs to start their business with the
correct foundations that it would need. It aims to convert the student into a
professional start-up entrepreneur.
Course Description
ERVE explains in detail the process that an entrepreneur goes through
before he actually begins his operations. From coming up with a business name,
to registering it to the proper agencies, determining the regulatory requirements,,
raising the initial capital, establishing good corporate governance, up to the point
of establishing corporate by-laws to ensure harmony among all the stakeholders
of the company.
Learning Methodology and Approaches Used
The teaching method will be a combination of class discussions, guest
speakers, exercises and off campus activities. There will be a lot of industry
experts to be invited to emphasize on the regulatory requirements, policies and
procedures. It will look into the different stories that surround the mistakes done
