Following an unfortunate incident that happened to me in Chester
recently, I wish to commend two police officers to you. Police officer
738 and 3923 assisted me with an incident and made sure I was
taken home safely. These two officers were very helpful, caring and
diligent in their duties and they were both excellent ambassadors for
Cheshire Police. I commend them to you in the highest regard.
My wife and I had the misfortune to be involved in a major RTA.
Constable Wedgewood attended the incident and I feel it is
necessary to write to you to commend PC Wedgewood for the calm
and professional way in which he took command of the incident.
His actions on that night helped to ease what was a very traumatic
incident for all the people involved. He performed his duty in an
exemplary manner and I thought it necessary that I should put my
thanks on record.
