THIS EMPLOYMENT AGREEMENT (the "AGREEMENT"), dated as of March 22, 2004, between LIBBEY
INC., a Delaware corporation (the "COMPANY"), and Scott M. Sellick (the "EXECUTIVE").
WHEREAS, the Executive, currently an officer of the Company, and the Company desire that the Executive
continue to serve as an officer of the Company upon the terms and conditions set forth herein;
NOW, THEREFORE, for good and valuable consideration, the receipt and sufficiency of which is hereby
acknowledged, the parties agree as follows:
1. Term of Agreement. The term of this Agreement shall commence on signing of this Agreement (the
"EFFECTIVE DATE") and shall continue through December 31, 2005, provided however, that commencing on
January 1, 2005 and each January 1 thereafter, the term of this Agreement shall automatically be extended for
one additional year unless not later than September 30 of the year preceding such extension of the term, the
Company shall have given written notice to the Executive that it does not wish to extend this Agreement beyond
the expiration of the then current term. Employment hereunder by the Company or its affiliates shall continue
indefinitely during the term of this Agreement until terminated as provided in Section 4. Not withstanding the
foregoing, the term of this Agreement shall automatically end on the last day of the month in which the Executive
reaches age 65.
2. Position and Duties.
(a) Position. The Executive hereby agrees to serve as an officer of the Company and shall perform all duties
assigned by the Company commensurate with such position and shall devote the Executive's best efforts to the
performance of services to the Company in accordance with the terms hereof and as may reasonably be
requested by the Company. For purposes of this Agreement "OFFICER" of the Company shall mean an
executive elected by the Board of Directors of the Company (the "BOARD") as an officer and who enters into a
