1. GENERAL INFORMATION
(A) Outline Of Laws Regulating the Fund in the Jurisdiction Where Established:
(1) Name of the Fund: Loomis Sayles Investment Grade Bond Fund (the "Fund")
(2) Form of the Fund
The Fund is a series of Loomis Sayles Funds (the "Trust").
The Trust is a diversified open-ended management investment company organized as a Massachusetts business
trust under the laws of Massachusetts by an Agreement and Declaration of Trust (the "Declaration of Trust")
dated February 20, 1991. The Trust currently has seventeen series: The Bond Fund, Core Value Fund, Global
Bond Fund, Growth Fund, High Yield Fund, Intermediate Maturity Bond Fund, International Equity Fund,
Investment Grade Bond Fund, Managed Bond Fund, Mid-Cap Growth Fund, Mid-Cap Value Fund, Municipal
Bond Fund, Short-Term Bond Fund, Small Cap Growth Fund, Small Cap Value Fund, U.S. Government
Securities Fund and Worldwide Fund.
The Declaration of Trust currently permits the trustees to issue an unlimited number of full and fractional shares of
each series. Each share of the Fund represents an equal proportionate interest in the Fund with each other share
of the Fund and is entitled to a proportionate interest in the dividends and distributions from the Fund. The shares
of the Fund do not have any preemptive rights. Upon termination of the Fund, whether pursuant to liquidation of
the Trust or otherwise, shareholders of the Fund are entitled to share pro rata in the net assets of the Fund
available for distribution to shareholders. The Declaration of Trust also permits the trustees to charge
shareholders directly for custodial, transfer agency and servicing expenses.
The assets received by the Fund for the issue or sale of its shares and all income, earnings, profits, losses and
proceeds therefrom, subject only to the rights of creditors, are allocated to, and constitute the underlying assets
of, the Fund. The underlying assets are segregated and are charged with the expenses with respect to the Fund
