It is an honor to have the Division of Child
Support and the Director’s Office for the Oregon
Child Support Program as a part of the Depart-
ment of Justice. I strongly support the work of
the Child Support Program with its partnership
between the Division of Child Support and the
District Attorneys. A central part of the
department’s mission is to serve vulnerable
populations. The child support professionals of
the District Attorneys’ offices and the Division
of Child Support work together as partners to
provide vitally important services to children
and families. The challenges can be great and
we will continue to do our best to meet the
needs of children and families.
This plan sets forth the strategic vision of
the Oregon Child Support Program. With the
guidance of this plan and the dedication and
hard work of the men and women in the program,
I expect great success in the coming years.

The Oregon Child Support Program (CSP) is a powerful
entity focused on our commitment to the Oregon children and
families we serve, and our alignment toward the child support
efforts occurring in other states. With the strong foundational
partnership between the Department of Justice, Division of
Child Support (DCS), and the District Attorneys in Oregon, the
CSP focuses daily toward identifying new processes and
partnerships that will result in helping parents meet their
obligations to their children and strengthen families.
This plan is the foundational guide of all CSP members,
providing each of us a clear vision and path to follow toward
the goal of accomplishing our Mission – to enhance the well-
being of children by providing child support services to
families.
Following this plan we have embarked on several ventures
toward improving services while ensuring we are utilizing our
resources in the most effective and efficient manner. We have
