CMH Heli-Skiing Announces New Small Group Heli-Ski Trips in British
Columbia, Canada
Skiers looking for a small group heli-skiing experience, CMH Heli-Skiing is now offering even
more choices with small group trips in the Monashee, Adamants, Bobbie Burns, and Kootenay
regions of British Columbia.
Banff, Alberta (Vocus) January 14, 2010 -- Heli-skiing in British Columbia just got more exhilarating, with new
Small Group Heli Ski programs opening up at the Monashee, Adamants, and Bobbie Burns locations of CMH
Heli-Skiing. CMH has long offered small group options from their Kootenay base, and new for 2010 and 2011
CMH is now offering small group heli-skiing programs from three additional backcountry lodges.
CMH small group heli-ski trips utilize a six-seater Bell 407 Alpine helicopter so three groups of five skiers, along
with their respective guides, can each access the epic, deep-powder ski terrain of the Monashee, Selkirk, and
Purcell Ranges in British Columbia. Small group heli-skiing equals fast skiing: quick lifts, the opportunity to ski
challenging lines, and no fear of competition for those first tracks. Guides can gauge the abilities and desires of
each group providing customization of the overall wilderness experience. Small Group Heli Ski trips, also known
as Powder Max, feel like a private – without the matching price tag.
Trips include ground transportation from Calgary, Canada; daily heli-skiing with IFMGA or ACMG certified
guides; lodge accommodation; gourmet meals, freshly prepared snacks, and non-alcoholic beverages; use of
specially designed powder skis and poles; training in and use of avalanche transceivers.
