Located within walking distance of the San Luis Rey Mission,
Heritage Park was created in the 1970s as a permanent and
perpetual symbol of Oceanside’s heritage. Heritage Park allows
historic Oceanside to serve as a background to private parties,
weddings, and special events. Ideally situated within Heritage Park
lies the gazebo. For more details and/or to arrange a visit to

All applicants wishing to rent Heritage Park must complete and
submit an application for the use of Heritage Park to the Oceanside
Special Events Office. The application for the use of Heritage Park
must be filed no less than 30 days or no more than 365 days prior to
the proposed activity date. Dates will not be held without receiving a
completed application. Applications are available at the City of
Oceanside website; www.ci.oceanside.ca.us, click on special events.
