In pursuance of the judgment of the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India, in the case of P. A.
Inamdar v/s State of Maharashtra & others 2005 (6) SCC 537, Unaided Private Medical
and Dental Colleges have a right to admit students and to hold common entrance test,
Therefore at this stage admissions to all the seats in the Unaided Homoeopathic Medical
Colleges will be done as per APGH-CET-2010 merit only.
As per the aforesaid judgment there is NRI Quota up to 15% at the discretion of the
member colleges particulars regarding the same will be displayed on the official website
The programme mentioned in this brochure is applicable to the Postgraduate admis-
sions to be given for the academic year 2010-11 at the Unaided Private Homoeopathic
However, it is made amply clear that after publication of the brochure, if there is any
order by appropriate authority or any legislation or judgment by any court of law, then
the AMHMCM will abide by the appropriate order/ enactment/ judgment, reserving its
right to challenge and without prejudice to rights as per the TMA Pai Foundation
(2002) 8 SCC 481 Punjab National Bank A Inamdar's care (supra.) judgments.

Association Post Graduate Homoeopathy – Common Entrance Test – 2010
The entrance examination for the Post Graduate Courses in Homoeopathy in the State
of Maharashtra for the Academic year 2010-11 shall be conducted by the Competent
Authority appointed by the Association of Management of Homoeopathic Medical
Colleges of Maharashtra (AMHMCM). The entrance examination shall be conducted for
all the seats in the private unaided Homoeopathic Colleges.
