BA ACCOUNTING, 2010-11
This paper lists the modules that are available to students on the BA Accounting
programme during the 2010-11 academic year.
You will be automatically registered for all core modules (indicated by the shaded
areas). Please do not attempt to delete these modules from your registration, as
failure to take these courses may invalidate your degree programme.
You will be able to register for optional modules via Spider between 14th April 2010
and 4th June 2010. Instructions on how to register will be available through Spider.
It is recommended that you consult the School’s Electronic Module Catalogue for
2010-11 when considering which optional modules to take. You can access this at:
http://www.liv.ac.uk/managementschool/undergraduate/current_students.htm If you
require further information about a module after looking at the Catalogue, you should
contact the relevant module leader. The acting Director of Studies, Mr Phil Ormrod,
can provide general advice about the programme. You can visit him during office
hours or by appointment at other times. Please email him at email@example.com
to arrange an appointment.
When selecting your optional modules for 2010-11, you should ensure that you have
completed any necessary pre-requisites. First years should also look ahead to the
third year of the programme when selecting their optional modules, to ensure that
they have covered the necessary pre-requisites of any modules that they wish to take
in their final year of study. Note that sometimes modules may not run every year
because of staffing constraints.
University regulations permit students to take up to 30 credits at a level below that
which they are currently following. This means that final year students may select up
to 30 credits of level two modules, and second year students may select up to 30
credits of level one modules. Students wishing to register
