How to Get There from Here
Northwest Community College offers a comprehensive set
of University Credit courses that transfer to universities,
university-colleges and other colleges in British Columbia,
as well as across Canada.
You can take your first two years of university at Northwest
Community College, earn an Associate Degree, and get a
great start on your university education.

Advisor’s offices, NWCC library or online at
www.bccat.bc.ca. Our Educational Advisors can also assist
you with transfer information.

Studies have shown that students who transfer from
community colleges to university do as well as, or better
than, those who proceed directly from high school to
university. Students who start at NWCC will realize
significant financial advantages when compared to those
attending university elsewhere.
How to Apply
• Apply online at www.nwcc.bc.ca or obtain an Application
for Admission form from any College campus. Forms can
also be downloaded directly from the College Web site.
Return the completed form and documents to NWCC.
• You will be notified by mail regarding the status of your
application and when and how to register.
• All students are encouraged to contact an Educational
Advisor before applying to Northwest Community
College. Telephone or in person appointments can be
arranged by contacting your nearest College campus.
• It is important to apply as early as possible as many
programs and courses have a limited number of seats.
Applicants will be admitted based on the date the
application is received.
