Sawant on Friday said to
move HC against Tejpal's
acquittal in a rape case

the state government will challenge in the
high court writer Tarun Tejpal's exoneration
in a 2013 assault case by an area court
A meetings court at Mapusa on Friday
vindicated Tejpal of explicitly attacking his

under the steady gaze of the great court
soon for this situation."

issue with the public examiner and the
researching official for the situation about
testing the decision in the high court.
Sawant asserted that there was sufficient
proof against the charged.

Tejpal in November 2013, following which
he was captured.
The Goa wrongdoing branch had
documented a charge sheet against Tejpal,
who has been temporarily free from jail
since May 2014.
He confronted the preliminary under IPC
