Title of Bill: Carbon Emissions Reform
BE IT ENACTED OR RESOLVED OR AMENDED BY THE MOUNTAIN LAKES GOV MODEL
Preamble: The purpose of this bill is to prevent factories from producing carbon emissions,
due to the extreme pollution caused by them. This bill will force large companies to use
alternatives and overall, decrease the amount of pollution they create from making their
products. A tax will be put on all products that create pollution.
Section 1: The “Eco Tax” will be put on all products whose production process harms the
Section 2: Be it enacted by the Senate and the House of Representatives of the United States
of America, The United States of America will ban carbon emissions.
Section 3: Companies who switch to an alternative will receive tax breaks.
Section 4: Prices of un-environmental goods would increase due to an “Eco Tax” and
environmental-friendly goods will be more favorable to the public. The demand for
environmentally friendly goods would increase and more companies would be likely to

an eco-friendly country.
Section 6: This bill will go into affect 364 days after passage.
