Here are some examples of how ads are now popping up in unexpected places:
3M Security Glass
3M wanted to make a point that their Security Glass could stand up to just about anything. So,
they installed this block of security glass with real and fake cash in it at a bus stop. Passersby
were encouraged to try to break the glass with only their feet. A security guard stood by to make
sure that people followed this rule.
Y+ Yoga Center
The Y-Plus Yoga Center in Shanghai decided to showcase the flexibility of yoga practitioners on
what else? Flexible straws. These straws were given out at a juice bar near the yoga center.
The folks at Mondo Pasta know that people like to slurp their spaghetti. That’s why they came up
with this brilliant concept. These giant faces were pasted onto sides of ships in Hamburg,
Germany. The ropes coming from them served an extra long piece of pasta.
The Australian Childhood Foundation
These ads were placed in high-traffic locations around the city of Melbourne, Australia. They
were designed as part of the Australian Childhood Foundation’s “Stop Child Abuse Now”
campaign. Child-sized mannequins were used for the ads.
