January 2008
Happy New Year! What a wonderful time to be involved in the health and fitness industry!
The New Year means new goals, new ambitions and new energy. Our clubs will soon be filled with the excitement of what promises to be
the year of improved health for millions of participants. Our responsibility is to embrace that excitement with open arms and to turn
temporary motivation into a lasting commitment for new members ready to make a change in their lives.Although this is an exhilarating
time for health clubs, it is also a challenging time for your staff as they seek to make connections with so many new members in need of
support and assistance. Let's turn 2008 into the year that we take charge of our retention rates. No more our members slipping through the
cracks without receiving a greeting, a smile or a hand shake. Make it your resolution this New Year to reach out and help your members
achieve their real goals, instead of marketing empty promises. NEHRSA is here to help! We have an outstanding calendar this year of
education programs, conferences, and events that will help you to help your members achieve the gift of health.
