SUBJECT: EOP – Membership on the National Civil Rights Committee (NCRC).
Purpose: To notify employees of vacancies on the NCRC.
Expiration Date. September 30, 2006.
ACTION REQUIRED BY: JULY 21, 2006
The following positions on the National Civil Rights Committee (NCRC) will become
vacant by September 2006:
¾ Hispanic Female
¾ Asian/Pacific Island Female
¾ American Indian/Alaska Native Female
Anyone interested in applying for one of the positions should complete the enclosed
form and submit it according to the instructions noted below.
Membership on this committee is for a 3-year term beginning October 1, 2006.
Meetings are held two to three times a year at various locations throughout the country.
Committee members’ travel costs will be covered by NCRC.
The NCRC mission is to provide counsel and recommendations to the Chief on Civil
Rights issues and concerns of employees and clients. The Committee’s vision is to be
recognized as a guiding force, which strives for excellence in Civil Rights for all clients
and employees of the Natural Resources Conservation Service. Please consider the
mission and vision of NCRC in responding to these vacancies and have the appropriate
supervisor concur in your nomination.
