APEC 2011 USA Host Committee Launch
Wednesday, July 14, the APEC 2011 USA Host Committee will kick off efforts to
support US business engagement with the world’s fastest growing and most dynamic
region in preparation for the APEC 2011 forum. Media are invited to attend and connect
with NCAPEC and US private sector leaders leading the Host Committee.
The 2011 meetings will mark the first time since 1993 that the United States has chaired
the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) forum. Meetings will be held throughout
the year across the country leading up to the annual Economic Leaders’ Meeting and
CEO Summit in Honolulu, Hawaii.
The National Center for APEC (NCAPEC) – APEC 2011 USA Host Committee
A US private, non-profit organization, supported by member companies represented by a
Board of Governors from some of America’s leading companies. It is the nation’s only
business organization focused exclusively on APEC and will serve as secretariat to the
APEC 2011 USA Host Committee.
