CNN Sci-Tech
(CNN) -- Much of the world is in the grip of
"Star Wars" mania and, as one might expect,
The Force is alive and well in cyberspace. In
fact, there are more than 3 million "Star Wars"
Web sites on the Internet. Here are a few
interesting ones.
The official 'Star Wars' site
is not only a great place to start
for "Star Wars: Episode II -- Attack of the Clones"
but all the movies in the saga. The site has more
than 5,000 pages of content, so the search engine
may be a good place to start. Whether you're a
collector or someone searching for official
merchandise, this is where you'll find it. You can
also find "Star Wars" comics, books, games, news
and a databank of movie trailers that you can
download. An interesting feature about
StarWars.com is that every time you visit the Web
site, a different image appears on its main page.
StarWars.com
The not-so official site
is the largest unofficial "Star Wars" Web site.
About 50 people work and maintain this site, which features a
vibrant community of fans who post everything from news,
reviews and the latest rumor or gossip on a daily basis. So you
can find information about all the different episodes,
characters, storylines and more. Also, you can transform your
windows desktop into something out of the movie by
downloading desktop wallpaper and icons as well as video and
sound clips.
TheForce.net
For the serious collector
is truly the place to go if you're a serious
collector. Thi
