people gather materials they need destroyed and seal them in their own box. Next, customers log
onto Ship ‘n’ Shred’s Web site (www.shipnshred.com) where they purchase and print a shipping
label for each box.
After the box is picked up by the shipper or left at one of its nearby drop-off locations, the
materials are transported to the nearest secure shredding plant. When the box arrives at the plant,
it is scanned for the customer’s tracking number then shredded by trained security experts; even
the boxes are destroyed. Lastly, the customer is notified by e-mail once the box has been
destroyed and they can print a Certificate of Destruction from the Web site.
All services related to shipping, including label printing, pick-up, tracking, transportation
and delivery, are provided by operating companies of FedEx Corp. (NYSE: FDX).
