Invisalign is a removable dental
appliance that slowly straightens

A series of custom-made, clear aligners or
trays are made wherein each tray
gradually moves the teeth to the right
position. Each tray should be worn at least
22 hours a day for best results.
After a tray has been worn for a certain number of weeks it is then
replaced by the next tray in the series, until the right alignment is
achieved.
Each Invisalign tray is fitted to each patient with
the use of the latest in computer imaging
technology. It is made of strong medical grade
plastic yet is light and comfortable to wear.
Unlike braces, it is virtually invisible when worn.
At Foothill Dental Clinic, you begin your
treatment by getting teeth impressions and
x-rays for the perfect Invisalign fitting.
You are then made to comeback every few weeks where a new round of
impressions, x-rays and molds are made for the next trays. The extent of
corrective treatment determines how many Invisalign appliances will be made.
While Invisalign treatment is the better
choice because of its discreetness,
comfort and in most cases speed in
achieving the desired end result, it is not
recommended for young kids.
Invisalign are removed for eating and
brushing teeth, young kids may not be
mindful enough to put them back on
