ADT Appoints John C. Kenning as Group Vice
President, Commercial for ADT North America

BOCA RATON, Fla.--(EON: Enhanced Online News)--Business-to-business sales and operations veteran John C.
Kenning has been named group vice president, commercial for ADT North America. In this newly-created role,
Kenning will lead the development of commercial strategy and sales generation in addition to installation delivery. He
will have direct responsibility for all commercial sectors at ADT including: national accounts, mid-tier accounts,
Advanced Integration, and commercial installation.
Kenning brings proven sales and operations experience to ADT. Prior to joining the company, he served as senior
vice president, global accounts and global and North American partners for Toronto-based Nortel—a $10.4 billion
telecommunications equipment company. During his time at Nortel, Kenning created a global infrastructure to
support sales, assessment, design and implementation of services in 86 countries.

installation teams to leverage operational efficiencies and deliver a quality customer experience.”
Prior to joining ADT and his role at Nortel, Kenning, was a partner in Chicago-based N-1 Technologies, a
privately-held IT consulting and investment firm that developed IT solutions for a number of Fortune 2000
companies. He has served as president and director of Nanovation Technologies, a leader in manufacturing,
development and marketing of integrated optical components. Also, Kenning was executive vice president of sales
and marketing for Comdisco Inc., leading the team to revenue of $3.5 billion.
Kenning received his bachelor’s degree in marketing from Miami University of Ohio.
