Completely worth the money. The story is fun and entertaining, and has enough action to satisfy a fan of the series, and those new to the series. This game is more reasonably difficult as opposed to some of the other games, so it is a good game to start with if your new to the series. I loved it so much I went out and bought the other games in the series even though they are games of an older generation system (PS2). It has a lot of variety when it comes to fighting styles and weapons, which is one of the greatest features of the game, including more than one playable character. Dante and Nero make an odd pair but it is entertaining to watch. It is centered on the theme of saving the world from a holistic yet evil priest. I won't lie to y'all - some levels are extremely hard, but eventually u understand how to win them. The game still has the stylish feel along with the sense of immersion and control of DMC3SE. The length feels about the same as the prior game in the series. The action is still fast and entertaining. The cut-scenes voice-acting is a bit less cheesy than in prior games (though the cut-scenes and story in this series is always overshadowed by the fun of the in-game play). The only negative aspect for me is that the PS3 version seems to lack the Turbo option from DMC3SE and, as a result, DMC3SE's difficulty will always feel a little higher than DMC4's to me.
