Chicago Scuba Divers Can Sign Up For A Virtual Neurological Assessment Training If you're a scuba diving enthusiast, gear up for a series of exciting and informative courses and events offered by Dive Right In Scuba! The Orland Park, Illinois-based scuba gear shop has announced their schedule of events for September 2021, which includes a virtual neurological assessment training, a hybrid course that mints self-reliant scuba divers, and a six-hour group trip across several shipwreck sites at Lake Michigan. If you're a serious diver with advanced training and experience, Dive Right In's classes and tours can help you enhance your skills and safety knowledge while having fun underwater. A leading scuba diving gear retailer and provider of beginner and advanced scuba diving lessons in the Greater Chicago area, Dive Right In Scuba always has a jam-packed schedule as part of their regular list of events. Whether you prefer in-water scuba diving lessons, virtual diver certification classes, hybrid in- classroom/hands-on diving courses, or something in between, Dive Right In Scuba’s calendar is undoubtedly booked with an event to suit your preferences. Their first class of the month, the PADI Neurological Assessment Provider course, will be held on Thursday, September 2, at 6:00 pm. The class, which is one of the company’s 10 online-based courses, will be held via Zoom conference. It mainly focuses on spotting signs of stroke and decompression illness, the two most common neurological injuries suffered by divers, before they cause more serious health complications. Ultimately, you will utilize the knowledge this course provides when conducting assessments such as the Functional Assessment Screening Tool. On Saturday, September 18, the group will hold the PADI Self-Reliant Diver Course, the third of nine hands-on diving lessons and classroom-based courses. Lasting from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm, you will receive in-person instruction in a classroom setting in Plainfield, Illinois. The third event scheduled for September is “Exploring Shipwreck Sites at Hammond Marina”, a diving tour to be held on the 19th. At 7:00 am, up to 16 experienced scuba divers will hop aboard the 47-foot-long SeaQuest II, a spacious twin-diesel crew boat with ample room for 22 people, and set out from Hammond Marina to explore several shipwreck sites.
