2012 Audit Findings
In 2012 the Clerk of the Circuit Court Auditor performed an audit of the
Athletic Field Use Agreement and operations. Some key findings that led to
an updated FUA include:
• Stronger controls are needed over the field sublet process (Stronger
penalties are needed to enforce this)
• Park facilities are used for financial gain by paid league employees.
This is a violation of County Ordinance 8-17
• Activity fees have not been established for Youth Sports Leagues
( The cost recovery model will address this)
