At the age of 5 Sasha's mother disappeared from their

Sasha and her 3 year old sister would ultimately be raised by their
maternal grandmother. At the time, her grandmother was the oldest
woman in the state of California to adopt children.
It was hard growing up with their grandmother as
she could be verbally and physically abusive. The
girls hid what was going on at home for fear that
they would have no place to go. Even with her
shortcomings, their grandmother did their best. She
made sure that both girls were college-bound.
It was while she was at UCLA, that Sasha realized how different she was from
the other kids. This prompted her to look for answers as to what had happened.
Ultimately, she was re-connected with her father again.
For the next 10 years, they were once again family.
Sasha explains, "It felt so good to have a family."
Unfortunately for her, that only lasted for so long.
Towards the end of those years, she found out the
truth - Her father had murdered her mother all those
Sasha was in shock after finding out the truth of what had happened. The injustice of
it all was too unbearable. She found herself experiencing anxiety and depression.
Sasha went to see a psychologist and psychiatrist. She took prescription pills.
It wasn't till she found hypnotherapy that
everything changed. "Every time I went in,
I felt better and better," explains Sasha.
