Championship, commonly called EuroBas-
ket 2007, was the 35th regional champion-
ship held by FIBA Europe. The competition
was hosted by Spain and took place from
September 3 to September 16, 2007.
Qualification
The draw for Eurobasket 2007 was held in
Madrid, October 19, 2006.

• The top three teams from each group
advance to the qualifying round, in which
they’ll be separated into two groups (A1,
A2, A3, B1, B2, B3 on Group E; C1, C2,
C3, D1, D2, D3 on Group F).
• Results and standings among teams within
the same group are carried over.
• The top four teams at the qualifying round
advance to the knockout quarterfinals (E1
vs. F4, E2 vs. F3, and so on).
• The winners in the knockout semifinals
advance to the Final, where both are
guaranteed of berths in the 2008
