Safe Card ID Now Offering Evolis Printer and ID Card Software Safe Card ID, a long-time retailer of child fingerprinting kits and photo security IDs, has expanded its products and services. SafeCardID.com will now be offering ID card software, printers and ID card supplies. Along with its other ID card printers, Safe Card will be offering the Evolis Printer line for in-house ID printing needs. The Safe Card ID company was founded the late 80’s by Greg Stephens. At the time, his objective was to enable parents of young children and law enforcement officials a better way to locate a missing child in the event a child was lost or abducted. In the years following that time, however, Stephens began to notice that business security needs were also changing. Industries across the board needed a better method for enforcing security in the workplace. In response to that need Stephens announced a new line of ID cards, printers and software for small business security solutions. Since the World Trade Center attacks in 2001, more and more people have realized a growing need for identification badges to protect employees as well as customers and make improvements to business security programs in general. Many business managers today are using photo ID programs as a way to rev up security. They add an extra layer of protection. With access control capabilities enhanced security IDs make it possible for employers to protect industry trade secrets, proprietary information, and confidential customer information like credit cards and contact info, and to protect their employees. From city hall to law firms and factories, photo ID systems are improving security in a number of ways. Safe Card ID’s owner, Gary Stephens, notes that printing photo IDs in-house is an effective yet economical business solution that keeps vendors, employees, customers, and even shareholders safe. Safety consultant have concluded that photo ID badges are effective in several ways. First they serve as a visual cue helping to increase employee awareness when unidentified persons try to gain access to sensitive information. Enhanced security measures mean that it’s possible for employers to know what employees enter and leave the building at a particular time. When standard photo ID cards are augmented with magnetic stripe encoding, they can be used with special access door locks and time clocks for increased security. In the event of corporate fraud or theft, an employee’s records can be accessed to check whether or not he or she was on company grounds at the time of the incident. SafeCardID.com’s newest line of business security enhancement products is not limited to badge holders and printers. They have printer software and ID card printer supplies available as well. The Evolis Printer and other products help Safe Card ID protect business across the United States.
