A widget is a small, self-contained application that lives on your desktop and focuses on a single

3. How do I install a Kaiser Permanente widget on my computer?
Before you can use a widget, you must first install the Yahoo! Widgets program on your computer.

If your Web browser is Java-enabled, then you will need to follow the steps for Java-assisted
installation. If your browser is not Java-enabled, please follow the manual installation instructions
further down on this page.
After arriving at the Yahoo! Widgets page, go to the right-hand window and click the orange
button that reads, “Get Started Now.”
You will then be asked if you want to “Install Widget Start Pack?” Select “Continue.”
A window will pop up on your screen asking you to review the Customer Licensing Agreement.
Review the terms and if you agree, select the “I Agree” button.
