connection with the hit-and-run death of Fauja Singh,
the oldest marathon runner
Singh, 114, was struck by a
speeding SUV while on his walk
in Punjab and died from critical
injuries at the hospital
Fauja Singh, a renowned figure, broke records running marathons in various age
brackets, even after turning 100, completing nine marathons
His running career started at 89 and concluded in
2013
The accused driver has been taken into custody for
the incident, which occurred during Singh's routine
walk
