Vysal electric underfloor heating offers many advantages
over more conventional types of underfloor heating and
traditional radiator based systems.
Heat is evenly dispersed throughout the room and not
concentrated near radiators or dust moving vents. Personal
preferences for heat comfort levels are easily achieved
using thermostat controls.
Electric underfloor heating systems have positive safety
benefits for the young, elderly or infirm in addition to the
comfort and their practical benefits.
Vysal electric underfloor heating systems are generally
simpler, quicker and cheaper to install than a gas fired wet
system and they can be less than 50% of the installation
cost of a properly controlled plumbed system.
Although electricity is a very efficient energy source,
operating costs could be more expensive than a gas fired
wet system unless an appropriate thermostat controller is
used. A correctly chosen thermostat control such as the
fully programmable Vysa-Therm 2500 digital electronic
thermostat can provide energy savings of up to 30%.
Energy consumption is not determined by the W/m2 of the
heating mat but by the thermostat being programmed to
ensure optimal economic operation of the heating system.
Vysa-Therm digital electronic thermostats control the
heating system so that you can have comfortable
temperatures when you are at home and energy savings
when you are out or asleep at night.

Vysal Underfloor Heating's systems heat the floor
evenly and the result is comfortable heating

In conventional radiator systems, heat rises and
temperature falls as radiators send the heat up
to the ceiling where it cools and then returns to
floor level as a cold draught.

Sub-floor preparation
Vysa-Film carbon film heating elements, Vysa-Mat
heating mats and Vysa-Cable 10W heating cables should
only be installed onto a suitably prepared suspended
(timber) floor or a solid (concrete) sub-floor. The sub-floor
must be flat, smooth, clean and free from old adhesive
residues, oil or bitumen and it must be secure and sound. If
appropriate, apply a universal sub-floor smoothing
compound to repair a damaged concrete sub-floor. Vysa-
PronTM insulation may be installed over bitumen to provide
a suitable surface for subsequent tiling.
Suspended floors
When fitting electric underfloor heating to a timber sub-
floor it is essential that the sub-floor is suitably prepared to
prevent subsequent movement that will cause the grouting
to crack or come out of the tile joints and possibly even
the tiles coming loose.
First ensure that the floorboards or chipboard is securely
fixed to the joists. If in doubt use countersunk head screws
or ring nails at 300mm centres across the whole area to be
heated to provide a stable floor finish.
We recommend that either 18mm thick plywood (Marine
or WBP weather and boil proof grade) or a suitable
tile-backer board be fitted over the original floorboards or
chipboard to ensure that the floor is stable. The plywood
must be secured using countersunk head screws at 300mm
centres across the whole area to be covered. Prime the
plywood to ensure a good bond between the plywood and
the tile adhesive.
Please note that it is worthwhile laying 3mm Vysa-Pron
insulating sheets over plywood to reduce running costs to
the lowest sensibly possible.
Solid floors
Un-insulated concrete or screed sub-floors may be fitted
with electric underfloor heating mats and cables installed
directly onto them having first prepared then correctly.
However, they will take significantly longer to heat up and
the heating system will be less efficient than if insulation
had been provided.
Insulation
We recommend that un-insulated floors are first overlaid
with 6mm thick sheets of Vysa-Pron insulation as a cost
effective and particularly suitable material for use with
existing and retrofit floors (see page 19).
If Vysa-Film carbon film heating elements are to be
installed the Vysa-Pron insulation sheets are simply laid
out and taped to secure them in position.
If Vysa-Mat heating mats or Vysa-Cable10W heating
cables are to be installed, first fix the Vysa-Pron insulation
sheets to the prepared sub-floor using Polybond Universal
PVA floor adhesive. The adhesive should also be applied to
the upper surface of the Vysa-Pron to act as a bonding
primer for the tile adhesive or the universal sub-floor
smoothing compound if it is to be used.
Vysa-Pron insulation improves response times as well as
reducing operating costs. As a guide typically expect the
following:

Important installation notes
One of the most common causes of damage to electrical
underfloor heating mats and cables is subsequent fixing of
furniture and equipment to the floor using screws. This is
particularly common in bathrooms where the plumber has
to fix the WC pan to the floor.
We strongly recommend that the locations of the furniture
or equipment such as the WC pan, door stops etc is
marked out onto the floor before the heating mat or cables
are laid out. They should be omitted from such areas and a
reasonably wide clearance should be provided around such
areas.
Preparation for the electrics
First measure the room and prepare a drawing with
dimensions so that you can make a plan of what you
require. Deduct a 7 to 10cm margin around the perimeter
of the room and then deduct the areas occupied by fixed
furniture. Such as kitchen units, the shower tray or bath in
a bathroom.
Calculate the area of Vysa-Mat heating mat required.
Choose the correct size of heating mat by selecting the
appropriate size from the table. Choose the heating mat
with an area just less than the calculated size. We have a
simple drawing package Vysa-Draw for use on a
computer to assist with selection of the appropriate size of
Vysa-Mat heating mat and its layout for the application.
You need to install a contactor if the size of the heating mat
represents a load greater than 3600W (16 Amps).
Plan where the thermostat, floor sensor and the 'cold tail'
cable lead connections are to be located in relation to the
mains supply.
The thermostat should be installed at a height of about
1.5m from the floor and located so that it is protected
against direct sunlight and draughts.
The floor sensor must be located so that it can effectively
measure the heating effect of the heating mat.
Please note that BS 7671:2001 prohibits the location of
thermostats in bathrooms.
Ensure that all appropriate regulations are followed when
installing Vysal electric underfloor heating systems.
Please refer to a copy of our publication Installation
Instructions and User Guide for Heating Mats if you require
more details to plan the installation before you specify or
purchase a Vysal underfloor heating system. Your distributor
will be pleased to provide you with one upon request. If
you experience any difficulty in obtaining a copy please
contact the Vysal sales office directly and they will be
pleased to send you one.
Installing Vysa-Mat heating mats
Having double-checked the plan and chosen locations, lay
the heating mat onto the floor. The diagram below shows
how to do it. DO NOT cut the heating cable under any
circumstances. Only the 'cold tail' cable lead connection
may be cut to accomplish the final connection to the
thermostat.
Cut a channel in the floor for the flexible conduit into which
the floor sensor is to be fitted. The channel should be deep
enough for the tube to finish sub-flush to the floor surface.
This helps reduce the overall height of the floor when the
mat is fitted. the flexible conduit is provided for the floor
sensor so that it can be removed if necessary without lifting
the floor.
Install suitable conduit elsewhere to ensure that all cables
may subsequently be installed in accordance with BS 7671:
2001 Requirements for Electrical Installations. The mains
supply to the electrical underfloor heating system must be
protected by an RCD Residual Current Device.
We recommend that the Vysa-Mat heating mat is laid and
covered with a universal sub-floor smoothing compound as
a first stage. This should be allowed to cure (approx. 3-6
hours) before proceeding with laying the floor tiles. Use a
wet rubber edged trowel to smooth the latex which must
be spread in the same direction as the cable runs.
1. Use scissors to cut the mat.
2. The cable mat can be turned
at walls by cutting the mesh
and flipping the mat over.
3. The mat can continue to
be rolled out making sure
there is a 50mm gap
between the loop ends.
Never bury or try to hide the cable. If necessary start again.
If you order the wrong size of Vysa-Mat contact your supplier.
The above is for information only and is not a substitute for
the detailed installation instructions supplied with the product.
1.

3.
Planning and preparation
This recommendation ensures that the Vysa-Mat heating
mat is less likely to be damaged both before and during
the process of laying the tiles. Also, if a tile is subsequently
cracked or otherwise damaged any remedial action is less
likely to cause damage to the Vysa-Mat.
Please note that Vysal will not entertain any claims about
dissatisfaction if an attempt has been made to install the
heating mat and the installer subsequently decides that
the heating mat is not suitable or had become damaged
in transit.
Calculate cable spacing
To calculate the spacing distance between cables regardless
of what shape or size the area may be or how many cables
are used apply the following formula:
Cable spacing in mm = Usable floor area (m2) x 1000
Cable length (m)
For example in an application where 950 Watts of cable
rated at 10 Watts/metre installed over a usable floor area
of 5.9m2 (for details refer to product order code 2389 in
the table on page 18).
Cable spacing = 5.9 x 1000 = 67.8mm (160W/m2)
87
NB Cable spacing of 67.8mm is shown as 7cm in the
product table.
Selecting the Vysa-Cable
10W heating cable
First measure the room and then deduct a 7 to 10cm
margin around the perimeter. It usually helps to make a
diagram with the dimensions marked on it. Then deduct
the areas occupied by fixed furniture - such as kitchen
units, the shower tray or bath in a bathroom and
calculate the usable floor area in m2.
Decide what power dissipation rating 100W/m2 to
160W/m2 you wish to achieve and then, using the table
on page 18, find the area that matches the usable floor
area at the chosen power dissipation and note the order
code of the cable you require.
Installing Vysa-Cable
10W heating cables
Plan the layout and then, having double-checked chosen
locations refer to "preparation for electrics" section
page 6 lay the cable onto the floor. Use the template
supplied to space the cable runs correctly at the chosen
dimension. The diagram below shows how to do it.
DO NOT cut the heating cable under any circumstances.
Only the 'cold tail' cable lead connection may be cut to
accomplish the final connection to the thermostat.
Don't forget to cut a channel in the floor for the flexible
conduit into which the floor sensor is to be fitted. The
channel should be deep enough for the tube to finish sub-
flush to the floor surface. This helps reduce the overall
height of the floor when the cable is fitted. the flexible
conduit is provided for the floor sensor so that it can be
removed if necessary without lifting the floor.
The principles are the same as for installing Vysa-Mat
heating mats described on page 6. Again we recommend
the use of a universal sub-floor smoothing compound.

Planning and preparation
Electrical connections
A hole is provided at the side of the box to lead the cable
out of. Do not take the cable off the drum, as it will twist
and make the installation difficult. DO NOT cut the heating
element under any circumstances. Only the 'cold tail' cable
lead connection may be cut to accomplish the final
connection to the thermostat or contactor required if
the heating load exceeds 16 Amps.

Vysa-MatTM Popular 100W 50 for timber sub-floors
The competitively priced Vysa-Mat Popular
heating mats are, as the name says, our most
popular and they represent excellent value
for money.
Vysa-Mat Popular heating mats have a thin (4mm) profile
double insulated, earth screened cable with a single 3
metre long 'cold tail' cable connection lead at one end to
facilitate installation and electrical connection. The heating
cable is taped onto an open weave polypropylene mat.
The sizes of the Vysa-Mat Popular heating mats have
been optimised so that they closely match the most
common room sizes encountered.
Vysa-Mat Popular heating mats are rated IP 67 and
completely waterproof so may be used outdoors and in
places liable to flooding.
Vysa-Mat Popular rated at 160W/m2 can provide primary
heating for most medium sized rooms, including
conservatories, where sub-floor insulation complies with
building regulations. To ensure sufficient heating effect, they
must be used on concrete based sub-floors and we
recommend that Vysa-Pron insulation is laid to reduce
energy costs and improve warm up times.
Vysa-Mat Popular rated at 100W/m2 may be used directly
on top of timber sub-floors without any insulation and they
are generally suitable only for background comfort heating
and floor warming.

Vysa-Mat Power 200 Watt 100
Vysa-MatTM Heating mats
Powerful underfloor heating mats are required
for primary heating of small conservatories or
extensions where the sub-floor insulation does
not meet current building regulation requirements.
At 200W/m2 the competitively priced Vysa-Mat
Power heating mats provide primary heating in all
but the smallest of room in the house be it
bathroom, kitchen or, hallway. There are two
widths available to facilitate installation.
The 500mm wide Vysa-Mat Power 200 Watt 50 provides
better floor coverage and easier layouts in smaller areas.
Whilst the 1000mm (1metre) wide Vysa-Mat Power 200
Watt 100 aids faster floor coverage and layouts in larger
floor areas.
Both models of Vysa-Mat Power 200 Watt heating mats
are suitable for universal application as underfloor heating
systems and when 'normally cool' floor finishes such as
ceramic tiles, stone, slate, lino or rubber have been
specified. However, a suitable floor base is created for
carpets or wood laminate floor finishes if a universal sub-
floor smoothing compound is applied over the Vysa-Mat
Power 200 Watt heating mat. We recommend this as good
practice for all installations regardless of the subsequent
floor finish.

Vysa-MatTM Original 100W 50 for timber sub-floors
Vysal has significantly increased its portfolio and
come a long way since the early days when it
started distributing Devi underfloor heating
products to the market.
Our Vysa-Mat Original heating mats have improved too
and the latest generation are twin conductor design with a
single 'cold tail' cable connection lead to bring them into
line with modern practice.
The sizes are the same and the product codes are the
same so those who wish to continue using Vysa-Mat
Original but avail themselves of an improved system for the
same price can continue using similar order codes (add a 2
to the original) with confidence.
Vysa-Mat Original heating mats have an ultra thin profile
double insulated and fully earth screened cable with a
single 4 metre long 'cold tail' connection lead at one end to
facilitate installation and electrical connection taped onto
the open weave polypropylene mat.
The Vysa-Mat Original heating mats rated at 150W/m2
can provide primary heating for most medium sized rooms,
including conservatories, where sub-floor insulation
complies with building regulations. To ensure sufficient
heating effect, they must be used on concrete based sub-
floors and we recommend that Vysa-Pron insulation is
laid to reduce energy costs and improve warm up times.
The Vysa-Mat Original heating mats rated at 100W/m2

You can't be too safe! Although any of our
products are suitable for use in bathrooms,
the increasing use of open showers or so-called
'wet rooms' has presented new challenges. The
entire room may get wet as water from the
showerhead flows directly onto the tiled floor.
Therefore, the specifiers needs to apply the
same levels of safety as are required for a
swimming pool.
Vysa-Mat Aqua heating mat has been specifically designed
to meet this challenge.
Vysa-Mat Aqua heating mat has a thin profile double
insulated, earth screened cable with a 4 metre long 'cold
tail' cable connection lead at each end for the electrical
connection. The heating cable is securely woven into a
cotton fabric mat. For enhanced safety, the Vysa-Mat
Aqua heating mat has two separate earthing systems.
The first earthing system is within the construction of the
electrical heating cable itself. The second earthing system
is an external earthing braid and grid woven into the
fabric mesh.
The narrow 300mm Vysa-Mat Aqua heating mats provide
better floor coverage and easier layouts around bathroom
furniture.
Vysa-Mat Aqua heating mats are suitable for universal
application as underfloor heating systems in 'wet areas' and
when 'normally cool' floor finishes such as ceramic tiles,
stone, slate, marble or granite have been specified.
Vysa-Mat Aqua 160 Watt 30 heating mats can provide
primary heating for most medium sized rooms and we
recommend that Vysa-Pron insulation is laid to reduce
energy costs and improve warm up times.
If you wish to install a waterproof DPM to the sub-floor
before laying Vysa-Mat Aqua heating mats please refer
to Polybond Epoxy DPM on page 26 order code 2485.
We recommend that the sub-floor is adequately water-
proofed before laying Vysa-Pron insulation and that the
Vysa-Mat Aqua 160 Watt 30 heating mat is covered with
a universal sub-floor smoothing compound before laying
the floor surface.

Selecting and installing Vysa-Cable Heating cable
Vysa-CableTM Heating cable
Selecting Vysa-Cable 20W in-screed
heating cable
Decide what power rating you desire 160 W/m2 to
240W/m2 and select the appropriate Vysa-Cable
20W In-screed heating cable using the same principles
and formulas described in detail in the section Selecting
the Vysa-Cable 10W heating cable on page 7.
Choose the order code that provides the desired
power rating for the area to be covered.
Installing Vysa-Cable 20W in-screed
heating cables
Vysa-Cable 20W In-screed heating cable requires an
appropriate floor structure which is described in
summary form below.
One method is to use low cost polystyrene type
insulation and cover
it with a steel wire
mesh (50mm mesh
of 12swg wire) to
isolate the cables
from the insulation.
The heating cable
is then fixed to the
steel wire mesh.
An alternative
method is to use a
foil-backed
insulation such as
Celotex and in this
case the steel wire
mesh is not
necessary. The
heating cable is
fixed directly onto
the foil face of the insulation.
Vysa-Cable 20W in-screed heating cable is then
covered with a minimum thickness of 50mm of sand
and cement screed.
The builder must be fully aware of the correct screed
consistency, curing, drying out periods and subsequent
application of floor surfaces. The typical accepted
drying out time is 1 week for each 25mm of screed.
Do not attempt to accelerate the drying out time by
switching the heating on.
Once dried out any floor finish may be applied as normal.

Vysa-Pron Foamed polystyrene sheets
Vysa-Pron Heavy duty polythene sheeting
Vysa-Pron Insulation
Vysa-Pron is a highly efficient extruded foamed
polystyrene polymer available in sheet form
suitable for a multitude of thermal and noise
insulation applications.
It is suitable for installation beneath any of the Vysal heating
elements to provide insulation for underfloor heating use.
Under Vysa-Matand Vysa-Cable heating mats and cables
it should be bonded to the sub-floor using PVA adhesive.
The same adhesive can be applied to the upper surface of
the Vysa-Pron sheet to act as a bonding primer and allow
direct application of a suitable quickset flexible cement
based tile adhesive and flexible grout.
For floors requiring carpet or wood laminate floors after
laying the heating elements a universal sub-floor smoothing
compound is poured over the heating elements to provide
a suitable floor base.
Under Vysa-Film carbon film heating elements Vysa-
Pron can be laid and merely taped into position before
laying the heating elements and then completing the
installation with a layer of heavy duty polythene sheeting.
We particularly recommend the use of Vysa-Pron beneath
wooden laminate floors to provide sound insulation
properties in addition to thermal insulation. This makes the
floor feel 'quieter' to walk on.
Vysa-Pron insulation sheets not only take care of heat
insulation when the heating element is operating but they
provide an effective guard against cold and damp even
when the underfloor heating is not operating.
A 6mm thick sheet of Vysa-Pron provides the same
insulation as 25mm thick pinewood, 100mm of brick wall
or 350mm of solid concrete making it an ideal insulation
material on any floor.

layer of semi-conductive carbon compound screen-printed
onto a polyester base layer.
Copper electrodes, connecting the mains supply across the
semi-conductive material causing current flow, extend the
full length of the film. The joint between the two materials is
made from pure silver and there is no measurable contact
resistance across the joint.
A surface layer of polyester film is laminated over the base
layer to encapsulate everything within a hermetic seal.
Electrical connections are provided via a red lead connected
to one of the copper electrodes and a black lead to the
other electrode at the same end of the film.
Vysa-Film operates at normal 230/240V mains voltage and
is controlled by means of a thermostat similar to a
conventional heating mat.

Planning, preparation and installation of Vysa-Film
Electric underfloor heating systems Catalogue 2 21
Planning and preparation for Vysa-Film
heating elements
Vysa-Film heating elements are only suitable for installation under
floating hardwood, wood laminate or wooden parquet floors. They
are not suitable for installation under ceramic tiles or similar floor
coverings.
Vysa-Film heating elements are very simple and quick to install.
The design is a 'dry' system and requires no wet adhesives. The only
adhesive required is strong waterproof adhesive tape available from
Vysal if required. The job is complete when the electrical connections
have been made. Since there are no adhesives to dry out, you can
switch it on and use it straight away.
The sub-floor surface must be free of protrusions and you must lay
6mm thick Vysa-Pron insulation over the sub-floor to prevent
damage to the Vysa-Film heating elements. Vysa-Pron also
provides heat insulation and helps to 'quieten' the subsequent floor
surface.
After the heating elements have been laid and the connections made,
the whole floor should be covered with heavy duty polythene
sheeting (see page 19) to prevent chaffing of the Vysa-Film heating
elements as the floor surface above them moves when walked upon.
The polythene sheeting also helps prevent water coming into contact
with the heating elements and electrical connections if the floor should
accidentally become flooded.
To help you plan what materials you require, first measure the room
and prepare a drawing with dimensions. Remember to deduct a 5 to
7cm margin around the perimeter of the room. Referring to the tables
on the adjacent page choose a combination of heating elements that
will cover the floor area of the room. Two widths of heating element
are available to ensure that the floor area of any room can be covered
adequately using a number of heating elements of one width or
another or, a combination of the two widths.
It is more economical to use the fewest number of long, wide
heating elements to cover the floor area rather than many narrower,
shorter heating elements. For example, in the diagram below, a
room measuring 3.3 x 3.2m could be covered by heating elements
3.0m long using either 5 widths of 530mm wide or, 6 widths of
400mm wide plus one of 530mm wide. The economical choice
would be the 5 widths of 530mm wide because it contains the
fewest heating elements.
Once you have worked out how many pieces of each width of
heating element and what length you require you can make a list by
order code so that you can place an order. If in doubt about what is
required, you can contact our technical sales department who will be
pleased to assist you complete your plan and place your order.
Vysa-Film heating elements are stocked in the sizes shown in the
tables on the adjacent page and are normally available for immediate
despatch. But, if you require a special solution to meet your
particular requirements, we can make heating elements in different
lengths to those shown in the tables. It only takes a little longer to
make a special order in the factory and this can usually be done the
same day as your order is placed.
Installing Vysa-Film carbon film heating
element
Prepare the sub-floor as required and lay the Vysa-Pron insulation
over it. Secure it in place using double sided tape or PVA adhesive and
if appropriate tape the joints to stop edges 'riding up' over each other.
If necessary, you can cut the heating element to reduce its length by
cutting the film at the marked cutting points with a pair of scissors.
The insulating discs supplied are to insulate the copper conductors
where they have been cut through.
The Vysa-Pron insulation can be channelled out to provide the
necessary grooves for the floor sensor and the 'cold tail' cable
connection leads. The leads from each element should be connected
together in parallel before being connected to the thermostat.
Once the heating elements are laid and the connections made, the
whole floor should be covered in polyethylene sheeting. Where the
edges of the polyethylene sheeting meet they should be overlapped
by at least 200mm and taped over using strong waterproof
adhesive tape.
Floor sensor is taken back (in conduit) to be
connected into the thermostat connection.

Cold tails from the laminate heating film are taken back to a
termination box to be connected in parallel across the load
connection.
Sufficient quantity of small push-wire 8-way connection
strips are provided for use with a blank junction box (not
supplied) to facilitate a simple, tidy method of doing this.
The cables should be tinned with solder prior to insertion
into the connector block.

Vysa-Frost Cable and thermostats for outdoor areas
Vysa-Frost Ice and snow melting systems
Snowfall can transform landscapes into beautiful
scenes, but it can also make car parking areas,
driveways, paths, garage entrances, outdoor
steps and loading bays dangerous to walk and
drive on.
The Vysa-Frost ice and snow melting system is used to
keep such areas free of ice and snow and comprises:
Heating cables installed beneath the surface of the terrain
A fully automatic digital controller
Digital so called 'intelligent' sensors located within the
terrain to measure both temperature and moisture.
The controller turns the heating cables on and off according
to the measurements recorded by the sensors. By monitoring
moisture and temperature, the system can save up to 75% of
the energy of a system using only temperature
measurements.
The performance of these 'intelligent' digital sensors provides
optimal functionality combined with low energy consumption.
Correct location of the sensor(s) is important for the system
to work as intended and the more sensors you incorporate
into the system the better the performance. With only one
sensor you will have to decide which is most important:
Fast detection and activation of the system or,
Complete melting of all snow and ice.
Using two sensors, one may be located where the snow/ice
will appear first (for fast detection) and the other where the
snow/ice will disappear last (for complete melting).
When using more than two sensors it is possible to cover
problem spots where snow is usually not detected or where
snow is not completely melted when the system turns off.
Cable selection
Frost protection systems are installed at between 250-
300W/m2, therefore to calculate your required heating load:
Area to be heated (m2) x 270 = Total load required (W)
Once you have your required load, simply match this to a
cable or combination of cables shown in the table on the right.

Vysa-Clear Mirror Demisters
Vysa-Clear Mirror Demisters
A simple solution to a misted up mirror.
With a Vysa-Clear Mirror Demister installed behind your
mirror and connected to the bathroom lighting circuit you can
view a clear mirror even though the bathroom is full of steam.
Vysa-Clear will fit on most types of mirror. On large
mirrors several mirror demisters can be combined to cover a
larger area.
Vysa-Clear Mirror Demister - Installation
Self-adhesive backing to the heater pad sticks directly to the
mirror.
Connect to the existing room light circuit so that the heater
pad operates automatically when the light is switched on.
The circuit must be protected via a 30mA rcd and it is
recommended that the installation is completed by a suitably
qualified electrician.
Vysa-Clear Film 500mm wide
Many of our customers who incorporate large mirrors onto
the walls of their clients construction projects have required
'specials' to provided heated mirrors. Either simply as a mirror
demister or as a wall mounted heater with mirror demisting as
a beneficial side effect.
Successfully meeting our customer's challenges represents an
effective research and development function. Consequently
we have now introduced the methods employed into our
latest catalogue.
Simply select lengths of Vysa-Clear Film to provide
coverage of the mirror area and install it in one of two ways
depending on the application. Either affix the heater element
onto the mirror using double sided adhesive tape or affix it to
the mounting surface. Then install the mirror as intended.
Vysa-Pron insulation should be considered always to reduce
energy consumption and improve response times.
Please contact the Vysal sales office if you require assistance
with a particular project.
