Why Professional Musicians Are Choosing The
Nord Stage 4 88 For Live Performances
As one of the newest installments of the Nord Stage 4
series of instruments, the 88 model introduces key
improvements over previous models.
It features an updated panel
with three sound engines, a per-
layer effects section, and an 88-
key fully weighted triple-sensor
keybed with aftertouch for
added expression.
The instrument also contains three distinct sound engines for its piano, organ, and synth
sound generators, providing musicians with a broader selection of instrument sounds.
The synth section, specifically, is based on the Nord
Wave 2 engine, which offers both FM and virtual
analog synthesis for a wider sonic palette.
Emulations include electric piano, organ, grand piano,
string, voice, and folk instruments, and these are
enhanced with double sample memory.
Because of the Nord Stage 4’s lightweight design, the synthesizer is highly portable and suitable for
traveling.
