This Illinois AHA Training Institution Can Certify
Your Employees In CPR And BLS
Did you know that, next to CPR and First
Aid, Pediatric Advanced Life Support is
one of the most important certifications
you can possess as a healthcare worker
or first responder at your place of
employment? Yet, it is the most
overlooked.
Illinois Safety LLC has announced the
relocation of its offices from the
company’s Chicago location to Elmwood
Park. The institution offers
Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
and First Aid classes that are certified by
the American Heart Association.
Apart from CPR and First Aid, the newly
relocated American Heart Association local
training site also provides instructional
classes in Advanced Cardiovascular Life
Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS),
BLS for healthcare providers, and Pediatric
Advanced Life Support (PALS).
The classes are open to
anyone interested in
receiving certification for the
critical care techniques
offered.
Training is conducted at any of
the company's locations or, if
requested, on-site classes can be
provided to businesses, schools,
churches, and other such
institutions.
Illinois Safety LLC encourages
that there are many reasons for
you to work towards
certification in any or all of the
courses they offer.
For one, certification is an
important asset for you, if
you're in the healthcare sector
or are a first responder at your
place of employment.
"Even if your position doesn't
require such a certification, having
one better equips you to respond to
an emergency, whether it's at work,
home, or elsewhere," a
representative for the company
explains.
The instructor-led PALS
classroom course is
conducted using a series of
videos and simulated
pediatric emergencies.
These modes of instruction are used to
reinforce the important concepts of a
systematic approach to pediatric
assessment, basic life support, PALS
treatment algorithms, effective
resuscitation, and team dynamics, the
representative explained.
