2.Objectives and Requirements
The objective is to equip the students with solid foundation for professional
knowledge in fashion, comprehensive abilities in fashion design and marketing.
Meanwhile, the students are aimed to become high-qualified fashion specialists who
can be engaged in the development of fashion product, marketing, international trade,
as well as sales management of clothing. On the basis of mastery of fundamental
knowledge, theories and techniques, students’ comprehensive capacities, creativity
and practical ability in fashion marketing and trade management are emphasized and
cultivated.
For oversea students, special courses are designed to introduce traditional
Chinese fashion culture and Chinese crafts. Researches on Chinese clothing market
will also be required, which can certainly arouse overseas students’ strong interest in
Chinese traditional fashion culture as well as the current situation in Chinese clothing
market.
