Buki Mosaku, founder of London-based DiverseCity Think Tank, and a leading international business
consultant, is soon to release his book, “I Don't Understand? A Practical Guide To Navigating Bias In
The Workplace”. Mosaku's methodology results from 20 years of accumulative knowledge of the matter.
Recently, the United Nations Secretary-General, António Guterres, told
member states that the current pandemic has exposed social and
economic inequalities rooted in racism, discrimination, and xenophobia.
The recovery must lead to more inclusive societies.
Mosaku focuses on upholding the UN's Universal
Declaration of Human Rights to end racial
inequality.
As part of an initiative to educate and support efforts
to assist in ending social and racial injustice,
Mosaku will be joining a United Nations Association
panel, and specifically lending his efforts to the
United Nations and its Chicago and Orange County
Chapters.
Co-panelists are: Naomi Mercer, Senior Vice President
of Diversity Equity & Inclusion for the American Banking
Association, Christina Stokes VP, Dir Talent Acquisition
RUBENSTEIN, Carla Montgomery CEO Kelly Group
and Mike Paul, President Reputation Doctor who will be
facilitating the event.
Buki Mosaku is known throughout the globe as a lead coach,
communications expert, and top consultant on unconscious bias.
Mosaku's Company DiverseCity Think
Tank, counts with diversity and inclusion
consultants who specialize in increasing
the productivity and effectiveness of
organizations.
This is accomplished by providing pragmatic
solutions that dissipate all forms of bias over
time. They focus on supporting and driving a
culture of high performance in diverse teams.
Buki Mosaku experienced first hand the ineptitude of behavioral
experts and consultants when addressing workplace bias.
Because of this, Mosaku began an
initiative to develop a fair, results-
oriented method to approach the
conscious and unconscious bias issue
in the workplace.
That is how the I Don't
Understand methodology was
born.
