On Kickstarter Golfers Can Relate To
Birdie Robot Golf has announced the launch of a
Kickstarter campaign to help cover the
development and publishing costs of their new
Weekend Warriors golf webcomic.
The entry-level reward
package gets you a mention
on Birdie Robot Golf’s
Founder’s Wall.
After this level are the Par, Birdie, Eagle,
Albatross, and Hole-in-One packages,
which include things like posters, hats,
shirts, golf balls, divot tools, and ball
markers.
The comics will be
written by Birdie
Robot Golf’s team and
illustrated by expert
artist CZero.
They plan to release a first
story arc of 100 webcomics (50
in black-and-white and 50 in
full-color) starting immediately
after the conclusion of the
Kickstarter campaign.
All backers of the webcomic
also gain admittance to the
Weekend Warriors Golf
Association, a group of
cartoon and golf enthusiasts
founded by Birdie Robot
Golf.
The objective of the campaign is to
raise USD 12,720, most of which will go
towards prototyping, production, and
fulfillment.
