The 3.50" x 2.25" speaker/microphone shall have voice fre- quency response and be secured by stainless steel studs. Screw terminal connections shall be provided. Required wiring shall be only three (3) common and one (1) selective wires for the IR208, and four (4) common and one (1) selective wires for the IR208/5. IR208 And IR208/5 Apartment Intercom Stations The Alpha Communications® IR208 and IR208/5 Apart- ment Stations are rugged, dependable units combined with advanced electronic design to provide natural, clear voice communication and positive door release opera- tion. These versatile stations may be used in large or small buildings and feature a wide variety of optional accesso- ries to provide needed additional functions such as dual operation, post office door release, timed door release operation, etc. Stainless steel panels and aluminum pushbutton provide for vandal-resistant stations. The IR208/5 has the same specifications and features as IR208, but requires four (4) common wires.
