While other GHPs have high
efficiency ratings for heating and
cooling, only the Trilogy 45 QE
includes Q-Mode technology,
enabling year-round domestic hot
water at 500% efficiency.
In addition to its hot water production capabilities, the Trilogy 45 QE uses
variable speed components, which match the system's capacity to the
heating and cooling loads throughout the day.
The variable speed technology within the Trilogy
45 QE means that it operates steadily at as low as
30% of its full capacity. This feature further
improves the system’s efficiency, as well as
reducing wear and tear on components and
extending the unit’s life.
An optional ClimaZone system adds motorized dampers in
ductwork as well as thermostats throughout the home to
provide more even heating and cooling.
This ensures that only those
areas which require it will receive
warm or cool air, adding more
efficiency to the system as a
whole.
